Signing a Cooperation Agreement between Tanta University and the Mauritanian University of Nouakchott

Tanta University received a delegation from University of Nouakchott, Mauritania, to sign a cooperation agreement between both parties. The Mauritanian delegation included Prof. Sheikh\ Saad Bouh Camara, President of University of Nouakchott; Prof. Salem Abdina, Dean of Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences; Prof. Mohamed Said, Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology; and Prof. Al-Mokhtar Al-Gelany, the Cultural Attaché in the Mauritanian Embassy in Cairo.

    Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, declared that signing this agreement aims to enhance cooperation between both universities, to achieve integration, and to strengthen the relations with Arab and African universities in implementation of the national strategy of higher education and scientific research. He added that the university is always keen on cooperation with outstanding world universities to improve the quality of education and to increase the efficiency of university graduates so that they can meet labor market requirements locally and internationally.

   It is worth noting that the agreement was signed by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Tanta University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, in attendance of Prof. Mahmoud Shakal, Executive Manager of the Main Center for International Relations and International Students’ Affairs.
